This policy explains what personal information Innerlux collects, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What this website does and does not collect

• This website has no database and no account system. The order form does not send or store your details on any server.
• When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, your browser opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message. Your details reach Innerlux only if you choose to send that message.
• Online payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Innerlux never sees or stores your card number.
• The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Information we receive

• Details you send us: your name, business name, area, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and any notes.
• Payment confirmations from Stripe: your name, email, amount paid and the service purchased.
• Information needed to deliver the service, such as manager access to your Google Business Profile, which you can remove at any time.
• Public information about your business and nearby competitors from Google Maps and similar public sources, used to prepare reports.

Why we use it

• To reply to you, agree the work and deliver the services you order (performance of a contract).
• To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
• To follow up on an enquiry you started, or to send a short business offer to a company, with a clear way to opt out (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Only service providers needed to run the business: Stripe (payments), WhatsApp/Meta (messages), our email provider, and Netlify (website hosting, which keeps standard server logs). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months. Client records: for the length of the service plus 2 years. Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required for UK tax.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to marketing, or ask us to stop using it. Email ufuk@innerlux.co and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
